
Calcium fluoride (CaF2) crystals have the advantages of wide light transmission range (good light transmission performance in the wavelength range of 0.13μm~10μm), low stress birefringence (no obvious intrinsic birefringence above 200nm), high uniform refractive index, stable mechanical properties, no delix, strong anti-radiation damage ability, etc. It is an ideal material for making all kinds of optical components such as optical Windows, prisms and lenses. Currently available CaF2 crystals have a diameter of 375mm.
