Product Description:
The power regulator, also known as the thyristor power controller, thyristor adjuster, thyristor voltage regulator, silicon-controlled rectifier (SCR) adjuster, SCR voltage regulator, power voltage regulator, power controller, or SCR power adjuster, is a panel-mounted power adjustment unit that utilizes thyristors (also known as SCRs) and their trigger control circuits to adjust the load power. It primarily employs digital circuits to trigger the thyristors for voltage and power regulation. The SCR is a four-layer, three-terminal semiconductor device composed of PNPN four-layer semiconductor materials, with three pins: anode, cathode, and gate. The working principle of the SCR is based on the conductive properties of the PNPN four-layer semiconductor material. When a forward voltage is applied between the anode and cathode, the SCR is in a cut-off state and does not conduct electricity; when the gate receives a trigger signal, the PNPN structure inside the SCR forms a conductive path, allowing conduction between the anode and cathode, and current begins to flow.
