
Equipment Introduction:
This equipment is mainly supplies for melting and casting ingots of special steels, high-temperature alloys, precision alloys, rare earths, etc,under vacuum or protective atmosphere. It can also be used for vacuum precision casting of small parts.

Furnace Body:
The vacuum furnace body adopts a vertical structure with a double-layer water-cooled wall cylinder made of (SUS304) stainless steel. The furnace body has a diameter of Φ1200×height 1200mm (working area), and the furnace bottom is arched with water cooling. The left side of the furnace body is equipped with the feeding device for the induction coil, and the medium frequency power supply delivers electrical energy to the induction coil through external cables and feeding electrodes. The vacuum system is located on the center-line to the right of the furnace. The induction coil for melting is positioned slightly to the rear of the center of the furnace, and the tilting of the induction coil is achieved by a mechanical system. The front lower part of the induction coil is the casting chamber, equipped with a platform for placing ingot molds (the buyer provides the ingot mold dimensions, and we will manufacture the platform according to the mold size).
The furnace cover of the vacuum induction furnace adopts a double-layer stainless steel (SUS304) water-cooled flat plate diversion structure. The furnace cover is equipped with a ramming rod, two quartz observation windows, an alloy feeding chute, etc. The flange surface of the furnace mouth is sealed with an O-ring, and the furnace cover is sealed by atmospheric pressure when vacuum is applied. The furnace cover is equipped with an observation window, allowing clear observation of the crucible and the pouring process. The observation window consists of one blind plate and two transparent quartz glasses. If one of the glasses is soiled by metal vapor deposits, the observation window can be rotated 60° by an external mechanism to expose the other clean lens. When not in use, the blind plate can be moved below the observation window glass. The furnace is equipped with an alloy feeding chute, allowing individual elements to be added without breaking the vacuum during the melting process.
The opening and closing of the furnace cover are first completed by a mechanical lifting device, which can lift the cover to a certain distance, and then the cover can be manually rotated open. The lifting position is protected by double limit switches.
Medium Frequency Power Supply:
The medium frequency induction coil is wound with rectangular copper tubing, and the melting crucible is made of magnesia crucible (the supplier provides the induction coil dimensions, and the crucible is custom-made by the buyer).
The medium frequency power supply panel features a touchscreen display with built-in PLC control settings. The regulation of the medium frequency power during power transmission is achieved through a potentiometer. The panel is also equipped with a fault indicator light. In case of under-water pressure, over-current, short circuit, or other situations, the system can immediately stop working to ensure equipment safety. The medium frequency power supply is placed on the operating platform for easy operation and observation. The power cabinet supplies power to the isolation transformer through a water-cooled cable. The isolation transformer and capacitor are installed in a rack and placed below the introduction end (electrode) of the inductor, connected to the electrode device with a water-cooled copper bar. The tilting and pouring device is electrically controlled.
Vacuum System:
The vacuum system of the vacuum induction melting furnace consists of a ZJP300 Roots pump + 2X-70 mechanical pump, vacuum piping, vacuum butterfly valves, and a digital vacuum gauge. A stainless steel filter screen is installed at the furnace's air extraction port to protect the vacuum mechanism. An electromagnetic differential pressure valve is installed at the pump inlet of the 2X-70 mechanical pump to prevent mechanical pump oil from flowing back into the furnace in case of a sudden power outage. The vacuum unit is equipped with a vacuum pressure gauge, a vacuum gauge tube seat, a vent valve, a protective gas inflation valve, etc. The vacuum piping is made of seamless steel tubes, and manual damper valves are installed in the piping. Electrical interlocking devices are installed between the valves to prevent incorrect manipulation.
Cooling System:
The vacuum induction melting furnace is equipped with a centralized cooling water distribution device. The main cooling water supply device is equipped with multiple ball valves for distributing cooling water to different paths, and an electric contact water pressure gauge is installed. In case of under-water pressure, the system will immediately emit an audible and visual alarm and stop operating. All cooling water is collected in a small open water tank, allowing for easy detection of the water temperature and observation of the water flow in each path. The user only needs to connect the main supply and drain pipes for the cooling water to the corresponding pipes of the vacuum furnace (cooling water source requirements are provided, and the water source is to be prepared by the user).
Electrical Control System:
The system uses a liquid crystal touchscreen display for faster program setup and more intuitive equipment operation status. Both setting data and operation are presented in a graphical user interface for easy operation. For data storage and output, data can be copied to a computer via a USB interface for long-term storage, with the capability to store multiple programs. It can simultaneously display all monitored values, including current, voltage, power, frequency, etc., and display the vacuum degree in digital form.
